The City of Sault Ste. Marie Parking Division is once again pleased to provide free downtown parking this holiday season. Effective Monday, December 18, 2017 to Monday January 1, 2018 free parking is available at all meters, pay and display units, and two-hour municipal parking lots in the downtown area.
Please note that the holiday exemption does not include parking in handicap spaces without a permit, any identified no parking areas, fire routes and private (permit only) lots.
There are lots of great stores, new restaurants, a few new stores and the service is a lot friendlier and way more personalized than you get at the other big box stores – many of the stores on Queen have been in operation for a lot of years and there’s a reason for that. This Friday quite a few stores are staying open late again, Last Minute Late Night ..might be worth checking it out … you may be pleasantly surprised …homespun treasures, Sweet greetings, stork and bundle to name a few … great for gift shopping…
