On Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017 the Chamber Singers of Algoma will lift spirits into the Christmas season with a concert taking place at St. Luke’s Cathedral in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. The music gets underway at 3:00 pm.
The audience will even be invited to sing along with the choir for a few Christmas Carol favourites.
Founded in 1985, Chamber Singers of Algoma is comprised of folks from both sides of the Canada-U.S. border. The Chamber Singers strive for perfection, as interpreted, and guided by director, Patty Gartshore. Their sound moves as one, with layers and textures; of tones and harmonies, consonance and dissonance; with notes suspended and held, sitting just underneath each other, inviting the audience to hear a story through music, scripted and composed, shared by a choir with ears tuned to listen.
Tickets are available at the door. Fah-lah-lah-lah-laaah–lah-laaah–lah-laaah.
