Passed away peacefully in the arms of his Saviour at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Thursday, December 7, 2017.
Harold entered God’s care at the age of 89.
He joins the love of his life the late Maretta (2014) with her he shared 63 years. Son of the late Bertrum and Ruby Hurley. Loving father of Valerie Witty (Richard), Carol Lanaway (Brent), Susan Beharriell, James (Bonnie) and the late Joseph. Grandfather of Jamie (Cheryl), Steve, Alex (Aliisa), Joe (Michelle), Jessie (Becky), Ashley, Michael (Ashley), Curtis (Katie) Meagan (Frank) and Allison.
Great grandfather of Leah, Dan, Connor, Landon, Fallon, Avery, Autumn, Emma, Gavin, Rylyn, Dacian, Aviella and Ryker.
Great great grandfather of Kayden. Brother of Bertrum (Fran), Denta Kalmback (Erich) and Dorothy Hatten (Lionel).
In respecting Dad’s wishes there will be no funeral service and cremation has taken place.
A private family interment will be held at a later date at Maple Leaf Cemetery beside his beloved wife.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the SAH Foundation or ARCH would be appreciated by the family.
