“We are excited to announce that Searchmont Resort is ready to open its doors for the 2017-18 season! Our Outside Operations crew has been working around the clock to open additional terrain as quickly as possible, and the Mountain is looking great for this time of year.
We have received over 60cms in the last 10 days, and everyone is thrilled to get out there and have some fun! We welcome everyone to come out and enjoy these incredible conditions, and we look forward to another great season. ” Colin Wilson- General Manager
New for this season, Searchmont will have 12 new terrain park features, new signage, improved infrastructure, new staff uniforms, additional rental equipment and renovated Villas & Chalets. Many of these improvements could not have been possible without the generous support of the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund (NOHFC), FEDNOR, Sault Ste Marie Economic Development Corporation and our amazing sponsors.
Opening day will be December 22nd (Friday), 2017. The Lodge opens at 9am and Lifts run from 9:30 AM to 4 PM. The Poma Lift (Bunny Hill) and the Triple Lift will be running.
For December 22nd – 24th, We will have our pre-season day rates:
$40+tax for Adult
$30+tax for Youth (11-17) & Senior (60-69)
$19+tax for Junior (6-10) and Super Senior(70+)
Kids under the age of 5, when accompanied by an adult ski for free!
The resort will be closed December 25th, but will be open every day from December 26th – January 7th (weather permitting). Regularly scheduled hours (Thursday-Sunday) will start after January 7th.
