The Sault Ste. Marie & 49th Field Regiment R.C.A. Historical Society, (Sault Ste. Marie Museum), is greatly saddened by the news of the passing, on January 18, 2018, of former Director/Curator Mr. Kim Forbes.
Kim was a past Director/Curator of the Sault Ste. Marie Museum from 1998 to 2016. Kim’s dedication and passion for history helped to ensure the growth and preservation of the Museum’s collection. Kim was an acknowledged expert on Sault Ste. Marie history, as well as an avid genealogist.
The Sault Ste. Marie Museum is grateful for Mr. Forbes’ leadership and 18 years of dedicated service, and offers its sincere condolences to his wife Barbara, family members, and friends.
