On Camera: Break & Enter at Echo Bay Gas Bar

Crime Stoppers and the Sault Ste. Marie Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are looking for the public’s help in solving and break enter and theft.

On Sunday December 10, 2017 at approximately 2:40 a.m. an unknown person in a small vehicle attended the Pit Stop Gas Bar in Echo Bay.   The suspect parked in the back of the store and entered the gas bar through the front door by breaking the glass. A quantity of cigarettes were stolen.

Video surveillance footage shows an individual wearing all black with a white balaclava, and white running shoes with black laces enter the store.

  2. my problem with this is as it was released today you’re making people think this just happened like a day or 2 ago but this happened about a month ago, if that was posted maybe right after this break and enter happened don’t you think that maybe someone would have come forward sooner and maybe their tip could have led to an arrest, but instead you wait a month and the person that did the B&E could be long gone if they are not from around here and maybe any tips that could have led to an arrest (if they live in the area) won’t be helpful because the people might not remember cause you took to long to post this, sorry for the rant just expressing my annoyance with how they post about a crime A MONTH after it happened rather than after it just happening
