Man allegedly threatens to ‘shoot people’ during late night robbery


On February 21st, 2018 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 30 year old Joshua Dumanski of no fixed address for robbery.

It is alleged that at 1:30 a.m. the accused was at a business in the 700 block of Pine Street.

The accused passed a note to a staff member demanding that the staff member turn over cash or he would start shooting people.

The accused engaged in an altercation with the staff member and was held for police.

Police arrived and the accused was taken into custody.

He has been charged with one count of robbery, one count of breach of recognizance and one count of breach of probation.

He was held for bail court.

  2. I wonder if he had a gun? Would’ve been nice for police to say if a weapon was found or not.
    What a brazen things to do tho, and for the person working to get in an altercation with him, yikes I would of opened the till and said “have at it” and left.
