Tonight’s show in Sault Ste. Marie at the Machine Shop marked a halfway point through Brett Kissel’s ‘We Were That Song Tour,’ and the final stop in Ontario before heading out west to his home province.
And, just minutes before show time it sold out, making it the place to be in Sault Ste. Marie this Sunday night.
Country fans of all ages and walks of life came out to watch Kissel, award winning Canadian musician, take over the stage at the downtown venue.
Kissel was ecstatic to be back in the Sault, and reminded fans to send in pictures and videos of this tour to [email protected]
Opening for Kissel was up and coming Canadian band, Buck Twenty, who come from Windsor, Ontario.
It was their first visit to the Sault, and we hope to see them back.

Yikes !
I agree
Who? We need some good musicians / bands to come here
who would you like to see play here…
Anything but country.
I hear that!
“My wife left me and my dog died and I got the roids, Waaa Waaa Waaa”
Some of us would rather listen to fingernails on a chalk board than any kind of country.
Glad they sold out, though.
Id say it’s always country and the same artists coming here to play, like how many times has Johnny Reid performed in the sault?
