Beats and Bocce: Joe’s Surplus hosts St. Patty’s Day bash! (7 photos)

curl for heart

Joe’s Sports and Surplus hosted their very first annual St. Patrick’s Day Parking Lot Party!

This all ages event had fun for the whole family, and our beautiful Spring-is-coming weather this weekend made it all the merrier!

In addition to prize giveaways, music, food, and an exciting bocce ball tournament, where teams competed for a $1000 gift card to Joe’s Surplus, this event was also a fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis, a cause near and dear to the hearts of the owners of Joe’s.

All proceeds from the BBQ portion of this fun-filled afternoon went directly to Cystic Fibrosis Canada.

Joe’s couldn’t be happier to have hosted this event and give back to the community. For more information on their store, please click here.

  1. Paddy is derived from the Irish, Pádraig: the source of those mysterious, emerald double-Ds. Patty is the diminutive of Patricia, or a burger, and just not something you call a fella. There isn’t a sinner in Ireland that would refer to a Patrick as “Patty”. It’s as simple as that.
