Kip Moore lit up the Sault along with openers, Drake White & The Big Fire, and the Fairground Saints, with a sold out show at the Machine Shop.
It was the biggest show that the Machine Shop venue has hosted to date.
and I had the pleasure of introducing Moore to the stage, in front of a pumped up crowd ready to have a good time.
Moore’s sold-out stint across Canada and the U.S marks the second leg of the ‘Plead the Fifth’ tour, promoting his 2017 album ‘Slowheart.’
This was Moore’s first visit to Sault Ste. Marie, and Saultites could not have been happier to have him!
American band Drake White & The Big Fire, who have opened up for country sensations Eric Church and Luke Bryan, alongside The Fairground Saints, a Nashville-based country trio, pumped up the crowd with their country beats.
Keep an ear out for some new tunes by Drake White coming this spring.
The artists also all came together to perform a powerful rendition of ‘I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For’ by U2.
White shocked the crowd by climbing up one of the beams next to the stage, still performing from the top.
Moore ended the night by signing autographs, something he tells the crowd he loves to do, to thank the crowd for spending their hard-earned money on him and his passion.
Moore says he used to always do it, but hasn’t had the chance for a while.
He said, “I will stay out there and sign until everyone is gone.”
Moore also told stories between songs, making the whole experience pretty intimate and personal for fans.
Another fun-filled, high-energy concert rockin’ and jammin’ at the Machine Shop.
