  1. First of all, how do you push an overloaded cart of unbagged items through the exit with 1- not being noticed, 2- setting off the alarm?
An employee followed them out and in all the time it took to unload these numerous items from the cart into the beater that she was driving, the employee 1- could not have stopped them, or 2- wasn’t able to at least get the tag number off the beater? This sounds way too fishy. They catch shoplifters there every day, was security goofing off, or sleeping on the job? The bottom line here is that WE get to pay for all this free stuff.

  2. Quote: “a blue car that had the rear passenger window broken, a smashed windshield and rear passenger tail light covered with red duct tape.”

From the description, probably a stolen car. But, did the employee think to get the license plate number?

  3. I understand this happens several times a day. At what point do losses warrant having someone stationed at the exit … they do this at their stores in the US (actually Costco does in Canada too).

    • Instead, “Wally’s World” passes this onto the honest customers. I rarely shop at the Soo Store. It is a total disaster. The store management should all be sacked.
The US stores are far better set up (and managed) than this one. Apparently The Walton empire doesn’t care about the issues of remote stores.
