Two Vehicle Crash Great Northern and Northern Ave.


At least one person, possibly another was sent by ambulance to Hospital following a two vehicle crash at Great Northern Road and Northern Ave Tuesday morning at around 9:30am.

Sault Ste. Marie Police Services, Fire Services and EMS attended to the scene. can confirm at least one person was sent by ambulance. Damage to both vehicles were substantial.  The cause of the collision is not known at this time.

One vehicle smashed into a utility pole, the other sustained damage to one side.

No other information is available at this time.

  2. Absolutely brutal, and this goes on every day by distracted and/or careless drivers. These people should be slapped with 5 demerit points for every accident and have to undergo and drivers test, written and practical. They are driving our insurance rates to the moon.
