2018 Special Olympics – Local athletes qualify for bowling championships

Special Olympics Ontario – Sault Ste Marie is very proud and excited to announce that our community has athletes who have qualified to participate in the National Bowling Championships in PEI (May 13-17).  Congratulations to Andrew Evans, Brody Hill and Terry Colizza!

The athletes are so deserving of this great opportunity and a trip of a lifetime.

Not only do they have a chance to win a medal or two, but new memories and friendships are sure to be made and cherished forever.

However, we can’t do it without you.

Please help us today by making a donation that will support our athletes, putting them on the road to success and an opportunity for them to shine on a national platform.

Fundraising is essential for these athletes, as we need to ensure that they can attend training camps ahead of the National Games so that they are on top of their game by May.

Funds raised will also assist with expenses such as transportation, meals, accommodations, and uniforms.

Our goal is to raise, at a minimum, approximately $1,200 per athlete!

Donations may be made on-line through the above address or you may email our Treasurer directly at [email protected] to arrange for a cheque or cash donation.
Stay tuned for future fundraising events.

The Sault Ste Marie bowlers thank you for making their dreams come true!
