Male Arrested for Theft and Mischief

Police Arrested

On April 9th, 2018 officers with the Break and Enter Unit of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 29 year old Troy Bozowskyi of Albert Street West for mischief and theft.

It is alleged that on April 2nd, 2018 the accused broke the window of a vehicle that was parked in the 500 block of Wellington Street West and took various items from inside the vehicle, including an iPhone and a wallet with bank cards.  The accused then attempted to use the victim’s bank card at a convince store a short time later.

Officers located the accused on April 9th, 2018 and he was taken into custody.  At the time, the accused was found to be in possession of folding knife that opened with centrifugal force.

One count of possession of a prohibited weapon,
One count of mischief,
One count of theft under $5,000,
One count of theft of a credit card, and;
One count of possession of stolen property
He will appear in court on May 14th, 2018.


  1. Don’t see anything about breaches?
    A slap on the wrist and back on the street again to make dozens more people feel violated and insecure by breaking into their property and stealing their belongings. There should be a special place for career criminals like this that is far far away from society.
