Can someone please tell Mother Nature that it’s Spring, because apparently she has some more winter weather coming our way and potentially about 12cm of new snow by Wednesday.
Another disturbance headed with a cold front will dump anywhere from 6cm to 12cm by Wednesday morning. At the moment there’s about a 46 percent chance the Sault could see more 6cm in total.
This secondary system follows another disturbance that promised to give us a ole fashion winter storm over the weekend, lost some of its steam and left behind about 10cm.
Environment Canada is calling for the snow to arrive starting Tuesday and lasting through to Wednesday morning. Temperatures are expected to be below normal for most of the week with a gradual warm-up developing late next week.
Now here’s a shocker for ya, the highest temperature recorded on this date was in 2010 with 26.9c the coldest temperature recorded on this date was -13.3 in 1969.
