Public Relations and Event Management students from Sault College were proud to present the Neighbourhood Resource Centre with a $4500 cheque.
The proceeds came from a 3 on 3 soccer tournament hosted by the students earlier this month.
The tournament consisted of twelve total teams, six in a junior division and six in an intermediate division.
$2800 of the proceeds were raised by the Steel City Rapids, who contributed 42 players to the junior division.
The proceeds are integral to the continued operation of the NRC, a vital service in Sault Ste. Marie.
