Students from the Algoma region will be putting their most scientific foot forward at the 31st Annual Rotary Science Fair Algoma Algoma region presented by Tenaris on April 12 – 14 at the Algoma University George Leach Centre.
Please join us by visiting the exhibit area on Friday, April 13 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again on Saturday, April 14 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., followed by the awards ceremony.
See a wide variety of projects from “Baking With Different Sugars” to “The Affect Of Cell Phone Usage On Reaction Time”. Find out how road salts affect the growth of plants, how dairy consumption affects quality of sleep, which materials absorb the most noise, and whether time really flies when you’re having fun!
Students will compete for top prizes and an opportunity to represent their school and the Algoma region as a part of Youth Science Ontario, at the Canada Wide Science Fair in Ottawa from May 12 – 19, where they will compete with students from across the country.
