I would like to thank the members of USW Local 2251 for their endorsement and support of my campaign.

Politics and elections can be very competitive, but at then end of the day it is important to focus on the issues that matter to real people in our community.

We need to work together because we all call Sault Ste. Marie our home. Regardless of party affiliation, the MPP who will represent our City must work together with all levels of government, industries, organizations and unions to ensure Sault Ste. Marie continues towards a path to success.

Politics is inherently local. As a leader I have strived to make sure I represent every person in my city. This endorsement by the hard-working men and women of USW Local 2251 is a truly humbling moment for myself. I am honoured, and I do not take for granted how important and meaningful of an endorsement this is.

I will continue to work hard to deliver results in Sault Ste. Marie and ensure we succeed together. In this election, Ontarians have an important decision to make. Only a Progressive Conservative government will deliver good paying and sustainable jobs, right here in Sault Ste. Marie. This is a priority for me. The real people of Sault Ste. Marie know we can’t afford Andrea Horwath’s promises. This endorsement proves that is a reality.

Thank you again, USW Local 2251. I will not let you down.
