The Crane Institute for Sustainability is delighted to announce that Sault Ste. Marie has been selected as one of twelve cities across Canada to participate this year in the 100in1day event. The 100in1day event is a global movement empowering residents to turn their ideas into 100 community-based interventions on Saturday June 2nd, 2018. The 100in1day event is about creating positive change in cities through community-based projects led by individuals or groups.
To generate ideas, allow for networking, and motivate ‘intervention leaders’ who will lead specific activities for positive community change, the Crane Institute will deliver several workshops over the coming weeks.
Currently, there are two workshops set up. One workshop will be held on Wednesday, May 9th at Sault Ste. Marie Public Library main branch from 6:00pm-8:00pm. The other workshop will be held on Wednesday, May 16th at Gore Street Cafe, 164 Gore Street. For more information and updates on future workshops and registration details, please visit our website.
If you already have an idea in mind and wish to go ahead and register your activity, you need only go to the 100and1day website, sign up, click on the new action tab, and choose Sault Ste. Marie to post your event.
