Just how proud of the Soo Greyhounds is our Community? Hundreds of Saultites converged on Queen Street East outside the Essar Centre this evening to participate in a street party hosted by the Sault Downtown Association to celebrate their hard work and dedication as they move on to face the Hamilton Bulldogs in the OHL finals.
The Greyhounds seized the win this past Tuesday night from the Kitchen Rangers in double overtime, making them the Western Conference Champions and winners of the Wayne Gretzky Trophy for the first time since its inception in 1998/9.
Partnering up with the Hounds, Northern Superior Brewing, Coch’s, and Shabby Motley, the DTA’s Street Party brought together hundreds of fans and supporters of all ages to enjoy a healthy dose of Community Spirit on an absolutely gorgeous Spring evening.
While our team works feverishly to process all the amazing video coverage captured, we thought you may enjoy the following photo gallery… as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words!
