Street party round 2 to celebrate Friday’s game 5!

You may have seen all the fun Saultites had at the Greyhounds Street Party to celebrate game 1 against the Hamilton Bulldogs in round 4 of the playoffs.

The Downtown Association (DTA) is pleased to say the fun is far from over.

In partnership with the Soo Greyhounds Hockey Club, Northern Superior Brewing, and KC Security Services, the DTA invites all of you to join in Part 2 of the Greyhounds Street Party to celebrate game 5 versus Hamilton in a tied 2-2 series.

Come on out Friday May 11th – tomorrow – from 4pm to 7pm to rock the streets.

Whether you managed to snag a couple highly coveted tickets for the game, or if you are just looking for a great way to support the hounds and enjoy some beautiful weather after a long hard week’s worth of work, it is sure to be a good time.

Happening right on Queen Street between Bruce and Dennis streets, the event will consist of a live DJ, face painting, street hockey, delicious food, and – of course – beer gardens!

Let’s take some time to raise our glasses and celebrate last night’s intense overtime win, and the hard work our boys in red have put in on the ice this 2017/2018 season.

Let’s #IgniteTheNorth.
