The Kiwanis Club of Lakeshore is looking to join together with community Service Clubs in The Sault for an innovative idea called, ‘Service Club Saturday’.

Mary Hewgill, current Kiwanis Club of Lakeshore President ,together with members of the Kiwanis Lakeshore Club are hoping to create an annual event that will see many of our community’s service clubs join together for one meaningful project in the Fall.

The Kiwanis Club of Lakeshore is extending an open invitation to all of The Sault’s Service Clubs to join in with this remarkable initiative.

“Service Club Saturday would be an opportunity for all of us to come together and really make a difference in our community and showcase the great projects that service clubs perform in our community.” said Mary Hewgill. “Imagine the impact we could have with all of us working together toward a common goal – One magnificent project.”

“The next step is to invite any and all of our wonderful Sault community Service Clubs to a meeting this summer where we can decide on a date and a project. The hope is to have something planned for this fall – likely September.”

The Kiwanis Club of Lakeshore would like to hear from as many service clubs as possible at the following (Answering Service) phone number – (705) 946-7915.
