Hollowell joins Sandin in the blue and white

The NHL Entry Draft continued with rounds 2-7 on Saturday in Dallas, Texas, and less than twenty four hours after picking defenceman Rasmus Sandin, Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Kyle Dubas did another Soo Greyhound a favour!

In the fourth round (118th pick), Dubas and the Toronto Maple Leafs selected Soo Greyhounds defenceman Mac Hollowell.

Hollowell, who just completed his third full season with the Hounds, led all Hounds defencemen in scoring with 12 goals and 56 points in 63 regular season games.

Last summer, the 19 year also attended the Toronto Maple Leafs development camp as a free agent.

The Niagara Falls, Ontario native was drafted by the Greyhounds under Kyle Dubas in the 12th round (237th overall) in the 2014 OHL Priority Selection.
