Kupari goes 20th overall

He’s Greyhound property, and now he’s a first round pick in the NHL.

On Friday night in round one of the 2018 NHL Entry Draft, which took place in Dallas, Texas, forward Rasmus Kupari was selected 20th overall by the Los Angeles Kings.

Kupari, who was taken by the Hounds in the 2nd round (112th overall) in the 2017 CHL Import Draft, spent the 2017-2018 season with Karpat, scoring 6 times and setting up 8 others in 39 regular season games.

If Kupari ends up signing with the Kings, he may end up joining the Hounds for the 2018-2019 season.

Rounds 2-7 of the NHL Entry Draft continue on Saturday from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
