Have you always wanted to release a butterfly from your own hands? Join us on Thursday, July 19th at 6:00 pm at the Bellevue Park Bandshell for our 4th Annual Butterfly Release Day and take part in this give-back to nature.
Last year, family, friends and individuals gathered together to release over 400 butterflies. Whether commemorating a loved one, celebrating life and new beginnings, or connecting with nature on a personal level, the experience is sure to be memorable.
“The butterfly release is one of my favourite ARCH events. Seeing how meaningful it is for so many people, and for so many different reasons, I love being a part of it. The feeling you get when you see hundreds of beautiful butterflies released into nature is something I can’t quite explain in words. It’s just one of those experiences I’m so grateful to be able to share with my family and friends.” Alex Mantha, ARCH Hospice Administrative Coordinator
This year 600 indigenous butterflies are available for purchase. In previous years we have released Monarch, Red Admiral, Swallowtail and Painted Ladies.
Each butterfly can be ordered for $30 or you can buy four butterflies to share with family and friends for $100. The deadline to order is July 13. All proceeds are donated to ARCH Hospice.

To order your own butterflies:
· Visit the reception desk at ARCH
· Call ARCH at 705-942-1556 ext. 202

Rain or shine, the ceremony is set to begin at 6:00 pm with live music and entertainment. You can even get your face painted! Don’t forget to bring your lawn chair or blanket so you can enjoy the experience in comfort.
