Officials tell SaultOnline.com and ONNtv that tonight’s firework display is still on for dusk.
The entertainment was cut short at the pavilion when a severe thunderstorm rolled in around 8:30pm. It was believed that the fireworks planned for 10pm were also cancelled at that time. However officials now say, a break in the storm could allow the to set them off as planned at around 10:05pm. Organizers say if the storm redevelops and rolls in at that time, the fireworks will be re-scheduled.
