Invasive Species have a new Predator: The Great Lakes Forestry Centre

The ONNtv studios welcomed Forest Landscape Biologist John Pedlar from the Great Lakes Forestry Centre on Monday, July 16, 2018.

Pedlar and his team at the GLFC have been working on a “side project”, that helps understand how invasive species affect certain trees in urban settings. These trees are often found in downtown areas where aesthetics can play a role in design and selection.

The replacement of these trees is very costly for a city. Watch the interview above to find out exactly what Pedlar and his team have been working on.

Thank you again for joining us in the ONNtv studio, John!
