Not one, but two Khulls

They are cousins. They are forwards.

They were teammates on the Blind River Beavers for three seasons.

And now they are going to be teammates in college!

On Friday, the Sault College Cougars men’s hockey club announced that they have signed Echo Bay, Ontario products Max Khull and Steven Khull for the 2018-2019 season.

Eighteen year old Max Khull, who stands 6’1 and weighs 170 pounds, led the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League’s Blind River Beavers in scoring last season with 28 goals and 64 points in 55 regular season games and led the team in penalty minutes with 86.

The 2015 6th round pick of the Ontario Hockey League’s Niagara IceDogs also served as an assistant captain of the Blind River Beavers during the 2017-2018 season.

Nineteen year old Steven Khull, who stands 5’9 and weighs 170 pounds, had 9 goals and 21 points in 45 regular season games last year with the Beavers.

Both Max and Steven will also be taking Police Foundations beginning in September at Sault College.
