During the last few months, U.S. President Donald Trump has drawn a line in the sand when it comes to the relationship between Canada and the U.S.
On June 1st, the Trump administration imposed stiff tariffs on Canadian Steel and Aluminum. That move led to direct layoffs at Tenaris. A month later, Prime Minister Trudeau retaliated imposing tariffs on American goods to the tune of $1.6 billion.
