Breaking Away Gets Donation From Social Services SSM

Breaking Away, a not-for-profit organization for adults with developmental disabilities in the Sault, received some funds from the Sault Ste. Marie Social Services.

Being a not-for-profit, the $3900 raised by Social Services Charity Golf Classic means they can provide more support to encourage individual development and integration for adults with disabilities in our community.

Social Services has done a fundraising golf tournament the last two years to support organizations in our community. Last year’s recipient was Pauline’s Place.

ONNtv had the opportunity to join Breaking Away students and staff as well as Social Services staff as they celebrated the donation. For more information on Breaking Away or to see how you can get involved or help out visit them online.
