Challenge Yourself this Fall to Cycle for ARCH Hospice

Julie Premo and children

Cycling can be a fun and exhilarating sport. For many, it reminds us of carefree times as children and feeling the joy that comes with being outdoors.

In the spirit of making moments matter, last year our team at ARCH created the Great Bucket List Challenge, a fun and meaningful fundraising campaign. Julie Premo, Volunteer & Support Services Manager at ARCH, has decided to put her love of cycling to the ultimate test this September 15th in hopes of inspiring others and collectively raising $10,000 for ARCH Hospice.

We are excited to share the “The Great Bucket List Cycle”, as a community event and we invite you to join us, get active, enjoy the beauty of Northern Ontario, and support Hospice.

With five Aid Stations and five Angel Stations along the route, participants will have a space to take rest and replenish while taking in the beautiful scenery of St. Joseph Island.

The route is challenging but not too challenging for the novice rider. There are 100KM and 70KM courses, as well as a relay option.

The relay option allows riders to choose their distance while working as a team to complete the cycle. To keep you on course, we’ll have maps at registration for you to take with you while you cycle the island.

You’ll be rewarded for your efforts with a complimentary meal, free prize draws and loot bag at the end of your cycle. Prizes for Top Team & Individual Pledgers.

Registrations received before September 1 will receive a Great Bucket List T-shirt! Pre-registration prior to the cycle is preferred. Day-of registration starts at 9am with the cycle starting at 10am. You can collect $100 in pledges or register online.
