Downtown Mixer Cancelled Due to Weather

Fun for the whole family. Photo by Alex Parr.

The Downtown Association has cancelled what would have been their fourth Queen Street Mixer of the summer today.

They are concerned about the weather and threat of lightning, apologizing for the inconvenience.

Their next event, a Street Party, will take place on September 22nd. This party is hosted by Community First Credit Union, and is sure to be fun for the whole family.

Organizers stated that vendors who have paid in advance will be issued a full refund.

Despite the less-than-ideal weather conditions today, the Downtown Association encourages anyone looking for something to do today to check out the Sault Ste. Marie Museum, which is offering half-priced admission and have a number of kids activities today!
