Fire Ban Lifted

The Municipality of Huron Shores has lifted the fire ban. It's finally time to get out and enjoy a campfire. Please use caution and remember not to burn anything that shouldn't be thrown into the campfire. file photo

Effective 12 noon, on August 10th, 2018, the MNR (Ministry of Natural Resources) imposed restricted fire zone, inclusive of the municipality of Sault Ste. Marie, has been lifted.

Sault Fire Services would like to remind all citizens to burn with caution and follow the provisions of the Open-Air Burning for the Municipality of Sault Ste. Marie. Only those with a valid fire permit will be allowed to burn.
