Late this afternoon, Sault Police responded to a call for service in the city’s central area near Grand Blvd at Grandy Road.
Sault Police Emergency Services Unit, the Canine Unit, Sault Fire Services and EMS paramedics were all on the scene around 3:30 pm today in the area of the city near the former St. Basil’s Highschool.
“The call was not criminal in nature.” Sault Police Constable Sonny Spina told Superior Media. “There were no injuries and no property was damaged.”
Constable Spina further stated that upon arrival to the scene, police determined that the situation was not criminal in nature and no charges were laid.
