CAPT Updates ONNtv, Efforts to Revitalize Rail Still Chuggin’ Along

A battle being fought for years, CAPT (The Coalition for Algoma Passenger Trains) is still hard at work to see the renewal of passenger rail service between Sault Ste. Marie and Hearst.

Savory-Gordon, an advocate for renewing the rail, is hoping for fruitful meetings in the future with the federal government’s Transport Minister, Marc Garneau.

Savory-Gordon is also calling upon citizens and train-lovers to send in their photos for the 2019 CAPT calendars, which will be on sale in early December.

Anyone interested in learning more about the rail initiatives or inquiring about the calendar can visit CAPT here.
