The community is invited for Coffee & Conversation on Thursday September 13, from
6:30pm to 8:30pm at Shabby Motley Handcraft, 356 Queen St. East , to celebrate the
Campaign kick-off for Lisa Vezeau-Allen, Ward 2 Candidate for Sault Ste. Marie City Council.
Ms. Vezeau-Allen will release her priorities and wants an open forum, so that she can listen and respond to the needs of neighbours and neighbourhoods in Ward 2 and city-wide.

“I want to thank Ashleigh Sauve and her team at Shabby Motley Handcraft in allowing me to
bring the campaign to the greater public. Shabby Motley has been a welcoming space for many organizations and individuals to gather, including Pride Coffee Nights, and for my own book release, “The Purple Notebook” back in fall of 2014.”

Ms. Vezeau-Allen has led a varied career in the Not-for-Profit sector, as well owned a small
business with a partner in the downtown. She brings a unique perspective on the importance of
collaborations to create solutions for the needs of our city.
