Local security company KC Security held its’ first-ever community meet and greet Sunday from 1-4 p.m. at Bellevue Park. This event gave the community the opportunity to get to know the company and its’ employees.
Owner Daniel Laprade told SaultOnline that since they’re normally at everyone else’s events, they decided to invite the community out to their staff party/meet and greet.
“When I started my company, I said that one of the main things I wanted to do was be community-oriented, be heavily involved, go to tons of events,” he explained. “And we like to give back where we can too, right? So it’s a chance for people to come meet us, talk to us, get to know what we do. If people are interested in getting into the field, they can come talk to us about that. It’s just a good chance to talk with the community.”
