Yowza. Laurie is one Lucky Lady – but she didn’t find the Ace of Spades.

Okay folks. Plan now for one more chance to catch the Ace of Spades.

Laurie Eby was the lucky ticket holder tonight for Catch the Ace. When she approached the locked cabinet inside the George Wellington Esquire Club, she chose envelope #49.

Well – it did not hold the Ace of Spades. It held the 10 of Spades. Which is great news for the community that eagerly awaits Thursday evenings at the Esquire Club. There is still hope for the rest of us. But there is only one more shot at catching the ace.

Tonight’s Jackpot was a mind-blowing $120,431.00.  Laurie Eby announced to reporters and the crowd gathered, that she is now “out of debt.” Congratulations to Laurie Eby.

The Progressive Jackpot is up to $883,665.00. One can only imagine the line-up for next week – a line-up that has a life of its own and starts sometime the day before.

The overall amount raised at this point for charity is well over one million at $1,004,096.00.

The Braidos (Esquire Club) named Big Brothers/Big Sisters and the Group Health Centre Trust as recipients of the monies raised through Catch the Ace.

ONNtv’s Alex Parr will be back again Thursday, October 4th, 2018. Someone is going home very – very – rich indeed.
