If you’re searching for something spooky to do this pre-Halloween weekend, look no further!
Sault Search and Rescue is hosting their second annual Haunted Maze this Friday and Saturday from 5-10 p.m. The first two hours are kid-friendly, then it gets scarier for the older crowd.
This year’s event is larger than in 2017, with games and activities being held at the back of the building.
“Last year we did very well and there was a large response and I think we made a little over $2,000 on the project,” SSAR President Don Marshall told SaultOnline.
Marshall said this fundraising idea came straight from the SSAR volunteers at a meeting last year.
“We let people run with their ideas and see how it works out,” he explained. “We had a good response last year, the public liked it, so this is why they’ve done it again.”
The cost for this event is donation-based and all proceeds are going to help with costs for SSAR, as they’re not funded by any government agency.
Sault Search and Rescue is located at 246 Industrial Park Cresc.
