‘Top 30 Under 30’ Andrew Au to speak at Bridges to Better Business 2018

Sault Ste. Marie, ON (October 9, 2016) – Calling all current and aspiring entrepreneurs: You’re invited to Bridges to Better Business 2018. The annual event, hosted by the Sault Ste. Marie Economic Development Corporation, brings together area professionals for an evening of learning and networking. This year’s forum includes a keynote speech from Andrew Au, a digital transformation expert and business owner who was named to Forbes’ prestigious Top 30 Under 30 list.

Bridges to Better Business 2018 is happening on Thursday, October 18 at Delta Hotels by Marriott Sault Ste. Marie Waterfront. The networking and tradeshow portion of the forum starts at 5 p.m., with dinner at 6 p.m., followed by the keynote presentation. The cost to attend is $30, which includes supper. Space is limited. Taking place during the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) Small Business Week, this year’s event also features a Pitch Off. The competition began weeks ago with 20 entrepreneurs submitting business proposals. The field has been narrowed down to a pair of finalists, Copper Country Coffee Roasters and MarLo Construction & Millwork. The owners of the two firms will present their pitches to the audience and panel of judges, and the winner will receive a grand prize valued at $15,000.
