Today marks the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War. It is important that, today, we take a moment to reflect and pay tribute to every man and woman who has answered the call to service, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
I will be attending the Remembrance Day Ceremony being held at the GFL Memorial Gardens at 9:30 this morning. Whether it be by attending this service, or another, I encourage everyone to take some time today to honour our veterans.
It is our duty to remember the sacrifice that many Canadians have made for our freedom. On behalf of myself and my family, I thank all veterans and current service members for their dedication and sacrifice and remember those who were not able to return home. Lest we forget.
