Snowflakes and flurries can only mean one thing – Santa is on his way!
Mr. Claus will make his annual appearance in the Rotary Santa Claus Parade this Saturday, November 17th. The event is sure to be fun for the whole family, so bundle up and come on downtown.
But if you can’t make it down, or don’t want to brave the cold, tune into ONNtv for live coverage of the parade with commentary by Lou-Anne Young and Timothy Murphy.
The parade will begin at the corner of Pim Street and Queen Street East at 6:00pm. It will then proceed West down Queen Street to Gore Street.
To ensure that every child enjoys the parade, Rotary will have a Sensory Friendly Block between Bruce Street and Dennis Street. That means no air horns, sirens, or honking will be permitted in that area. Please respect the rules so everyone can have a joyous experience!
Please keep in mind that the parade will affect traffic. Street closure information can be found here.

Hopefully an uneventful evening and no whack jobs calling in fake terrorist attacks or spreading false rumors about a poor guy returning home from a day of hunting with a properly encased weapon, or, Mr. Skinner writing any more dumb click bait articles about terrorist attacks putting fear in people for no reason whatsoever.
This^^ we had to leave last year, it took so bloody long to start because of this fake call
