Winter in the north is always an amazing site to see, and what better way to enjoy it than joining us at our 4th annual Chocolate Express on January 13, 2019 at Stokely Creek Lodge. Experience our local winter wonderland with your family and friends!
Last year, over 450 participants skied and snowshoed in a memorable afternoon of chocolatey treats and lighthearted fun. The Chocolate Express features a 2.5km snowshoe trail or 2.5km, 5km, and 10km ski trails. Chocolate stations, where participants can enjoy homemade sweets guaranteed to entice your sweet tooth, will be along each of the four trail options.
As Trail Sponsor, Maitland Ford Lincoln is providing shuttle service to bring people to and from Stokely Creek Lodge. Participants simply park at Mountain View Elementary School (Mahler Rd, Goulais River) and the team at Maitland will run the shuttles back and forth from 11:30 to 1:30 and 3:00 to 4:30.
“This event has grown so much over the years, we continue to max out the parking lot at Stokely Creek in a matter of minutes. We’re so excited to have the Maitland Ford team on board again this year. Not only are they great company on the shuttle ride, they’re great help throughout the day!” Katherine Williamson, ARCH Event Coordinator.
Chocolate Express tickets are available for $25 online until January 10, or at ARCH Hospice, The Shoe Fits, and Maitland Ford until January 12.
