The Ontario government is turning to residents to look for ideas for the 2019 Ontario budget.
In a statement released today, the Ontario government is asking people to submit their “innovative and cost effective ideas” to improve the provinces balance sheet and save taxpayers money.
Minister of Finance Vic Fedeli, launched the budget consultations process today with a number of ways for the people of Ontario to tell the government how to spend their money.
“Our government is listening to the people of Ontario,” said Minister Fedeli. “It’s important that Budget 2019 protects our vital public programs and respects taxpayer dollars. We want to hear directly from the people about how we could generate savings and efficiencies, or implement new innovative and cost-effective ideas that will improve the programs and services that they depend on every day.”
The Minister will also hear directly from the people at sessions across the province.
People have until February 8th to submit their ideas by, on-line submission,e-mail, or post.
