Booster Juice has officially opened its doors in the Sault, with Saultites lining out the door at its grand opening on Saturday.

Located at 710 Second Line E., Unit 104, Booster Juice offers a variety of smoothies and juices, as well as food items such as paninis, wraps and protein bars/balls.

Grand opening deals include 2-for-1 smoothies all day long, and the chance to win prizes such as a Samsung big screen TV, a Google Home Mini and a $50 Booster Juice gift card.

Customers can also get their picture taken with Bon Soo and Cuppy, the Booster Juice mascot.

Franchisee owner Jeff Giovanatti said as an avid coach, he’s been a Booster Juice advocate for the last 10-12 years, and is excited to have the doors open after working towards it for the last few years.

“I love the product – it’s quick and healthy, and their brand promise is ‘Premium Products,'” he told SaultOnline. “I really believe that they follow through on their brand, so I wanted to become a part of the Booster Juice Family.”

He said they’re excited to serve and be a part of the community.

“We love the support we’ve had so far.”

Mayor Christian Provenzano was there to support Giovanatti, whom he’s known since high school, and to perform the ribbon-cutting for this new business.

“It’s great to see people in our community working hard and investing in the community and opening businesses,” he said.

Provenzano encourages the community to come out and support this local business.

“It’s a great new addition to our community,” he said, enthused.

  1. So will the Mayor be available for all new business grand openings?
I know of other businesses that get the runaround just trying to get very simple everyday pernits.

    • Yes, there’s a reason for that!

  2. Nice to see a new business that sells something healthy but the location could have been much better. Downtown on Queen or the Station Mall would have been a much better fit as people could just walk there. Most are not going to make a special trip by car for a juice drink.

    • Its a great location! I was there a couple weeks back and the woman working said they had been very busy. Especially with kids from Superior Heights and even kids from Korah. Grt Northern is just as busy as downtown/the mall combined. After I leave Walmart, it’s in the perfect place to stop and get my fave smoothie!
Congrats and good luck Mr Giovanatti!!
