On Camera: McDonald’s Charity Coin Box Stolen


Crime Stoppers and the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service are requesting your assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an incident of theft.

On January 19, 2019 an unknown male suspect attended Walmart on Great Northern Road.

The suspect entered the McDonald’s Restaurant located in the Walmart store and proceeded to steal the charity coin box from the counter.

There may have been up to $100 in the coin box at the time, the exact amount of cash taken is unknown.

The suspect was wearing a long grey winter coat with fur around the hood, grey track pants with a black stripe, grey running shoes, and a red toque that reads Canada across the front.
