The 2019 Ontario Winter Carnival ended in grand style as always, with a family dance at the Machine Shop Sunday evening, but before that, the signature event of the carnival, the Polar Bear Swim attracted those with nerves of steel, or perhaps ice.
About 100 participants took an icy plunge in the hole in the ice on the St. Mary’s , a tradition that will celebrate 50 years as part of Bon Soo in the 2020 carnival next year.
ONNtv’s Tami Rydall and Alex Parr give you a poolside view as they host the 2019 Bon Soo Polar Bear Swim ONNtv.
