CTV Northern Ontario Reporter Arrested For Child Porn

A reporter with CTV Northern Ontario has been charged with child porn offenses .

32 year old Callam Rodya (also known as Callam Senyk-O’Flanagan)was arrested by Greater Sudbury Police yesterday.

Rodya, who joined CTV Northern Ontario in September 2017 was charged with Possession of Child Pornography x3 , Access Child Pornography and Make Child Pornography as well as possession of a controlled substance.

Rodya was expected to face the charges today in a Sudbury court room.

In October 2018, the Greater Sudbury Police Service Cyber Crime Unit identified a Greater Sudbury resident downloading child pornography using a file-sharing site between October 2018 and February 2019.

  1. Shameful indeed, but I also find it shameful that sites like Sault Online are using this as an opportunity to make a competing media outlet look bad. Why has this article been “enhanced” to include his employer as at the beginning of the headline? Why is the article tagged with the employer, like this is news about the employer itself. Keep the focus on the man himself and his terrible charges. The employer has nothing to do with it.
