The Special Olympics continues on into day two where things wrapped up across each sport.
Once again the six sports of Alpine Skiing, Downhill Skiing, Snowshoeing, Curling, Figure Skating and Speed Skating were the events being held at various venues throughout the city.
After day one, the Sault’s curling team led by skip Nathan Harman found themselves tied with all of their divisional opponents with a record of 1-1. They are placed at the top as they have the greatest point differential of +2.
In today’s featured video, we speak to team Harman following a loss, but spirits weren’t too low as the team is set up for a bronze medal game!
We also speak with the Ottawa based figure skater Sandrine Li, who is apart of the 14 athlete team from the Ottawa and Kingston area.
As of the posting, there are no other results for our Sooites available yet, but when they are they are found at ssm2019games.com/results
