SAULT STE. MARIE – St. Vincent Place’s annual Coldest Night of the Year event is coming up fast, and we’d love to see you out walking with us on February 23.
That’s the night that hundreds of Saultites will join thousands of others across Canada in walking to raise funds in support of the hungry, homeless, and hurting. The family-friendly event will start at St. Vincent Place, where walkers will register (starting at 4pm) before walking a 2km, 5km, or 10km route downtown. Participants will have access to two rest stops along the way where they can enjoy hot chocolate and snacks.
After the walk, participants will gather at St. Vincent Place to enjoy some sweet treats and delicious chili to warm up.
This is St. Vincent Place’s seventh year taking part in the Coldest Night of the Year walk, and we’re aiming to raise $50,000 to help us give hope to the Sault’s hungry and homeless.
There’s still time to sign up and raise funds, so if you’d like your own iconic Coldest Night of the Year toque, register today at cnoy.org/saultstemarie to join us on February 23. Because it’s cold out there.
